post 6: The Truth about Autocomplete Auto Complete is really AUTO-INCOMPLETE

Post #6:

Auto Complete is really AUTO-INCOMPLETE

I was very surprised to see that such mentality of discrimination still exist.
I have tried  the same searches as in the ads, and unfortunately some of them return almost the same results.I believe that these sexist attitudes does not exist in developed countries. The impact on women, culture and society would be horrible, reminding as about the life that our ancestors lived a century ago. These attitude should be changed if them exist by promoting equality between men and women, by raising our voices and concerns when such attitude exists.

No Thanks USA - You Can Keep Black Friday...

Do you think that we buy more things that we really need each day?

- I think that we buy more things that we really need each day, just using different reasons, like: it is cheap, it fits me very well, it is a good deal, or just because of a good advertising.

Why do we, as a culture, feel compelled to buy things we don't need for survival?

- As a culture we feel compelled to buy things that we do not need for survival for having fun, fitting in with your friends, colleagues, or because of commercials and ads.

Do you think commercials and advertisements make us feel we need things when we really don't?

-Yes, I think that commercials and advertisements make as feel we need when we really don't. Ads drive our consumer culture, consistently turning “wants” into “needs” by telling as how important and good their products are and not telling about the bad part as in advertising how fresh is the water transported in plastic bottles, but not specifying how toxic those bottles are.

Why do you think our culture and media encourages us to buy things constantly?  Is this a good, bad or neutral thing? why?
- Our culture and media encourages as to buy things constantly because
I think is bad to buy thinks constantly that you do not need because there are environmental costs in each of these steps, like the destruction of therainforest to extract minerals, polluting byproducts made during an item’s manufacturing, the oil needed to transport it, or the landfill used to dispose of it.

post 4: Brilliant Ad: Discover the full story of Schusev State Museum Of Architecture

:
Discover the full story of Schusev State Museum Of Architecture

I think that One of the best ad campaign is Discover the full story of Schusev State Museum of Architecture.

Examples of print ad
Discover the full story of some of Russia's most famous buildings at the Schusev State Museum of Architecture
This beautiful illustration of St Basil's church in Moscow was created by ad agency Saatchi and Saatchi to promote the information available at the Schusev State Museum of Architecture. The campaign features a series of beautiful photographs of famous Russian landmarks, all of which travel underground and feature the tagline 'Discover the full story'.
I consider it very interesting because the underground part is extraordinarily beautiful and full of mystery.

Post #3 : More Social Media

Social media is good for easy communication with your friends, but it is not recommended for sharing all your information online. As Jack Vale show in his video clips, is it easy to find many information about total strangers, is it easy to hack a web camera and spy on people. The information you share can be used against you by bad people. This is good reason to know how much to share with your friends, and not to be exposed to some bad intentional people. Using social media is good in special to communicate in a fast manner  with a group of friends.

The problems African American males are facing are related to the misconception of the police of considering them aggressive, criminals or being
a danger to the society. Usually they are viewed through the lens of a negative stereotype. More than any other group in this country, young black men face a greater rate of imprisonment, a greater chance of being killed

I think that to prevent this treatment is to address and perhaps shape officer attitudes concerning discrimination and stereotype thorough pre-employment screenings and good officer training.  During the interview process of hiring new officers it should be emphasized racial tolerance,
multicultural diversity and a strict adherence to racial discrimination policy.
These ideas should also be emphasized during training in the basic academy and reinforced in each in-service school

I believe that the police should see African American males as part of the American family that need the care and support of all citizen
s and organizations.

We can be proud about our city, Toronto, a multicultural city that has solved this kind of problems long time ago.
